How to treat :

-Boil the driftwood for 45 minutes

-Soak the driftwood for 2-5 days with salt water

How to make the driftwood sink :

-Boil the driftwood for 1-2 hours. ( this will help water to soak into the driftwood quicker hence increasing the weight )

-Use weight( rocks, ect ) to weigh down the driftwood for a week.

My driftwoods have  white stringy stuff next couple of days after treated ?

Don’t worry, just like your tank got to cycle , same with new driftwoods. This is the most common problem and will disappear within a week or you can use a toothbrush to scrape it off for fast removal.

This will not effect your fish or shrimp in any way
